Since we first opened our doors in Shelbyville, Independence Bank has been honored to serve the people and businesses that make this area of Kentucky so special. Over the past few years, we’ve built strong relationships, supported local initiatives, and worked with our neighbors to make a lasting impact. We hope to continue this tradition as we grow alongside Shelbyville.

That’s why we’re thrilled to announce that construction is set to begin shortly on a brand-new, Signature Independence Bank location in Shelby County with plans for completion in 2026.

While construction continues, our team will remain at our temporary office in Village Plaza, where we’ve proudly served customers since June 2022. We’re grateful for the warm welcome we’ve received in Shelbyville and look forward to continuing to provide the same personalized, community-focused service you’ve come to expect from Independence Bank.

A Signature Location Just Off Freedom’s Way

Our new location will be part of an exciting new development just off Freedom’s Way, designed with both form and function in mind. This space will be a community hub where residents, businesses, and organizations can connect and grow together. Our 27th Location Across Kentucky

As Kentucky’s 4th largest Kentucky-based bank, the new Shelbyville location will mark our 27th location across the Commonwealth.
