The 19th annual Best Places to Work in Kentucky list is revealed— deeming Independence Bank among the winners.

The Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, the Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management and ClearPath Mutual Insurance Company announces the honoring of 100 companies in total.

The selection process, managed by Workforce Research Group, is based on an assessment of the company’s employee policies and procedures, paired with the results of an internal employee survey.

“We want each of our employees to feel empowered and fulfilled,” Independence Bank President Jacob Reid explained. “We encourage investing time and energy with initiatives that matter most to them. The Bank, collectively, is tightly entwined into every community it serves. There is a level of compassion, commitment and confidence that is expected when joining the Revolution. We always aim to take care of each other and those who surround us. As the banking sector evolves, we always look to elevate. Around here, we call it everyday excellence. It is what people have come to expect.”

Last year, in the summer of 2022, Independence Bank ranked fourth in the medium category, which includes organizations ranging from 150-499 employees. The ceremonial dinner was held in Lexington.

2023 marks the 15th year that Independence Bank has received this recognition.

Final results are expected to be announced on June 8th, 2023.
