Transfer money through Digital Banking from one Independence Bank account to another or to and from an external account at another financial institution. Schedule transfers in advance or easily set up recurring transfers. You must be enrolled in Digital Banking to take advantage of these features.

Person-to-Person Payments
Person-to-person payments are a safe way to pay back family and friends, or give a gift by transferring funds from your Independence Bank account to another individual’s account easily and securely. This feature gives you the benefit of real time access to funds without having to wait. You can even pay back individuals who are not Independence Bank customers as the payment works through their debit card, not their account information, which can be sent securely through text* or email. Standard text messaging rates may apply.

Bill Pay
Independence Bank is revolutionizing the way you pay bills, allowing you to pay online straight from your bank account. Bill Pay allows you to:

  • View and manage all your payment activity on one page
  • Have bills paid in as quickly as one business day
  • Set up email notifications for important due dates
  • Schedule bill payments in advance

External Transfers
Moving money just got easier. Transfer funds between your Independence Bank account and external accounts quickly and securely. Save time by eliminating the need to write a check or visit a bank location and even schedule transfers in advance.

Cut off time for same day processing are as follows:

  • Bill Pay at 3 pm CT
