Independence Bank has named Kevin Kauffeld as the new face of leadership for McCracken County as the next President for the market. Kauffeld most recently served as Chancellor and Director of Stewardship with the Owensboro Diocese. Current President Danny Evitts will continue to work closely with Kauffeld during his transition. Danny will also take on the role as the Chairman of the McCracken County Community Board of Directors where he will continue to be instrumental part of the leadership team in McCracken County.
A native of Owensboro, Kentucky, Kevin attended Brescia University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business and a Masters in Management. He spent almost 16 years serving the Roman Catholic Diocese of Owensboro, with the last 9 years as Chancellor and Chief Administrative Officer before joining Independence Bank.
