Independence Bank provides comprehensive fraud management program for its Visa® debit card using advanced, up-to-date network technologies to catch and stop potentially fraudulent check card transactions.

Independence Bank may contact you to verify the validity of transactions and/or to mitigate losses for activity that is identified as fraudulent. Please, be aware that should Independence Bank contact you, only details about the specific questionable transactions will be asked. These details include: transaction amount, the date of the purchase and the merchant where the transaction occurred.

Within Digital Banking you can manage your card preferences including toggling your card off/on, setting up text alerts and mobile wallet options. If you are not currently enrolled in digital banking, enroll now.

Independence Bank will never ask for personal information such as card numbers, social security numbers or PIN. If you receive a call asking for this type of information, please do not provide the information and notify us as soon as possible at 270-686-1776 or toll free at 1-877-621-1776.
