Independence Bank awards $211,100 in scholarship money to local high school seniors

From 2001 to 2010, Independence Bank has awarded $211,100 to local high school seniors within the seven counties it serves! The Independence Bank scholarship program is designed to encourage high school seniors in Daviess, Hancock, Henderson, McLean, McCracken, Warren and Webster County to continue their educations. Applicants are judged based on their financial need, grades, ACT/SAT scores, written essays and personal interviews.

Applications for the class of 2011 will be posted in February.
