Never get tired of doing little things for others. Sometimes those little things occupy the biggest part of their hearts. At Independence Bank, we do a lot of little things that add up to be big things and touch the lives of those around us. One of those projects happens to be helping with Habitat for Humanity. We all give a little bit of our time and little by little we build a home for a local family. Independence Bank has recently completed its fourth of eight Habitat for Humanity home. The plan is to build eight houses, over eight years in the eight counties we serve. This year’s house was built in our newest market, Madisonville. Brandy Ezell and her two children will call 436 North Scott Street, their new home after a dedication and key ceremony on November, 5th.
Independence Bank employees, directors and habitat volunteers worked tirelessly and donated over 300 hours to construct a three bedroom, two bathroom home in just three months.
